I have worked LeadingAge California since 1997 in various public policy capacities. I am currently the Executive Vice President and work with the California State Legislature, regulatory agencies and the general public to implement LeadingAge California’s public policy priorities. I manage the overall advocacy and communication efforts of the association, which includes leading the public policy advocacy team, directing statewide grassroots campaigns, as well as developing public policy and strategy. I oversee the publication of the association’s magazine (Engage), website, and handle media relations. Prior to joining LeadingAge California, I worked for a nonprofit trade association and the American Red Cross. I am a former member of the University of California, Sacramento Center’s capitol scholar program where he interned in the California State Senate. I have a B.A. in Political Science from the UC Davis and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy & Administration (MPPA) from the CSU, Sacramento.
